Masked Booby on Roach Island

An art quality print of a Masked Booby.

This Masked Booby is pictured on Roach Island, which is the largest of the Admiralty Islets – off the North coast of Lord Howe Island.

Roach Island is one of a host of different locations in and around Lord Howe Island where Masked Boobys breed. For that reason, Roach Island is a restricted area, requiring special permission to gain access.

Together, Lord Howe Island, Roach Island and the other nearby sites are the world’s most southerly breeding locations for the Masked Booby.

Originally ink on paper, reproduced as a fine art print on 310gsm archival quality cotton rag paper. Unframed, A4.
