The Ballina Angelfish (Chaetodontoplus ballinae) is exceptionally rare, and has only been sighted a handful of times since it was first discovered in the 1950s. This image is based on photos taken by divers who were fortunate enough to sight the fish near Lord Howe Island.
This is one of five images created by Margaret as a postage stamp series commemorating the establishment of the Lord Howe Island Marine Park in 1999.
Originally acrylic on paper, reproduced as a fine art print on 310gsm archival quality cotton rag paper. Unframed, A3.
